Frequently asked questions

Q: What parts of the ceremony do you play music for?
A: 30 minutes of prelude music (before the wedding), processionals (1: family, 2: groom, officiant and bridal party, 3: bride), special music during the ceremony (unity candle, unity tree, unity sand, etc.), recessional (bride and groom) and postlude (everyone else).

Q: Can you amplify?
A: Yes.

Q: Can you come to my wedding rehearsal?
A: Yes, but it is important to note that I charge the same fee for all events and appearances.  A solo violin wedding usually costs $200. It would cost an additional $200 to have me play the rehearsal.

Q: Are you reliable?
A: I've never missed a wedding.  I use contracts and do not require any sort of deposit before the event.

Q: Can you help me choose songs?
A: Yes.  If you like, I can give recommendations on what songs sound the best based on your selected instrumentation.

Q: How far do you travel?
A: It depends on your date, but I will usually travel anywhere within 45 minutes of Murfreesboro, TN for free.   I will charge a travel fee if your location is further away.
